Barber Curriculum

Throughout your time in this program, you will learn, develop and hone the technical skills needed to be successful in your career as a barber, while gaining the knowledge needed to pass the state exam. Become a part of our strong alumni community and build your future in the field.

Practical Education

Hands-on training begins day one. You will learn how to properly use your tools, learn foundational cutting and facial hair grooming techniques, and practice in the hands-on, safe environment of a classroom.

Theory Education

Classroom education goes hand-in-hand with practical training to introduce the basic skills needed to learn the craft of barbering and instill the knowledge needed to pass the state exam

Barber Clinic Floor

The clinic floor gives you practice in a real barbershop environment under the supervision of our instructors. Throughout the program, you will perform a variety of haircuts and services on clients, learn barbershop functionality, and develop a professional customer service presence.

The clinic floor allows you to advance your skills, learn more creative techniques, develop speed, and gain the experience needed to step directly into a real shop when you graduate.
